Bereavement

Also known as Ministry of Consolation, our mission is to provide bereaved parishioners and their families with hope and consolation during the period of mourning following the loss of a loved one.

We, being members of Christ's body, are called to participate in the Bereavement Ministry, to care for the dying and to comfort all who mourn.

The goal of a parish bereavement ministry program is that no member of the faith community grieves alone. The compassion of a loving God should be experienced by all who lose a loved one through concern and caring of the parish members.

Please join us on Thursday June 15 at 7 pm in the St. John's Church Basement

as we welcome special guest speaker

Steven Janzen

(M. Div RP - Psychosocial Spiritual Care Coordinator at Bethell Hospice)
