Support

Ever had one of those days when you're tired and spent and you fell like you want to hate everything? When you sob and weep and maybe even shake your fist at God? Remember, on those days, God is crying and weeping (although not shaking his fist) along with you. He is holding you in his arms just as you would hold your own child. He's saying, "Listen, you don't have to be the support for everyone, every single moment of the day. Leave that to me. Give me some time right now to hold you. Don't be afraid to let me support you for a little bit. Then you can go back and be your supportive self for eveyone else." Is this one of those days? Talk to God about it.

Our times are anxious, Lord, until we find hope in you.

Our hearts are restless, Lord, until we find rest in you.
