Jesus Christ was the founder of Christianity.

His mission: the redemption of mankind!

For Christians, God's love is expressed most fully by the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus saved humanity through His suffering and death on the cross, and showed the way to salvation.

His Resurrection and enduring presence in the lives of His followers is the foundation of Christian faith and hope.

The New Testament tells us what we know of Jesus' life:

• Jesus grew up in a simple and pious home in Galilee.
• His public ministry lasted only a short time, but His teachings became the foundation of the Christian way of life.
• Jesus' Resurrection, with its promise of eternal life, convinced many to believe in Him.
